Dana College offers classes in the Danish language taught by guest instructors through an exchange program with a Danish Teacher's College. Students with knowledge of Danish may work in the Danish Immigrant Archive - Dana College which contains the largest collection of immigrant letters outside Denmark or at the Danish Immigrant Museum in nearby Elk Horn, Iowa. Students also have regular opportunities for travel and study in Scandinavia.
