Marcella is teaching one section of Calc 1 in Spring 2025. She is a current graduate student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and is passionate about sharing the joys of math with students. Stemming from her own liberal arts undergraduate education (just down the hill), she is also interested in the broad scope of academic and artistic endeavors present at St. Olaf. Her mathematical research is in number theory and automorphic forms and she is actively working to make mathematics more welcoming and inclusive. You can always ask her for math puns, recommendations about making homemade pasta, to play collaborative board games, or about her time in Budapest with BSM.
