28450-1 Design a bookstore app for students to resell books where sellers can upload an image and information of their book and have it stored to a database backend where buyers can see the books and prices as well as seller contact information.
28450-2 A turn based multiplayer game (maybe hangman?).
28451-1 An app where you can put your class year and a major or concentration you're interested in, and the app would show you what your class schedule would have to look like to accommodate that major or concentration. This would be specific to St. Olaf.
28451-2 An app that would allow statistics students and professors to circulate surveys that St. Olaf students could answer to help with research about the St. Olaf population.
28452-1 A game that connects users on a local network and forces them to collaborate by communicating in person (ie one person has a button on their device and another person has a label saying that the button needs to be pressed).
28452-2 An app that lets you take pictures of articles of clothing you own and then lets the user assemble the pictures into outfits and share them with others.
28453-1 An application for students to keep photos they take of their class notes so it is easy for them to find and the pictures are not mixed in with other pictures in their gallery
28453-2 An application to advertise local businesses which have no other means of advertising themselves.

28455-+ Fluttering Squawkbeast - This app is a game about maneuvering a dubiously-shaped bird through a series of obstacles.
28455-1 IPA Pronunciation App - This app takes a String of IPA characters and pronounces the resultant word, e.g. ɔʁ dœvʁ.
28455-2 Pitch reader - This app takes sound as input, and displays the note and octave it hears.
28456-1 A recipe app where you put in what you have, and it tells you what you can make. In the front end, it can keep track of your pantry and recipes you want to make, while in the back-end it will have a database of all potential ingredients and recipes. This database can be built by web-crawling and by user input.
28456-2 An app that lets you edit papers on the go. It will let you make comments, and store edits as git-style potential changes to be made that can be presented to the original author
28457-1 I like Andreas' idea to create a pantry tracking application that lets the user keep track of their groceries and gives the user recipes they can cook with the the recorded groceries. Potential features of the app are scanning barcodes of food items, fetching recipes from the internet, notifying the user of expiration dates, etc.
28457-2 My idea is to visualize the local effects of climate change based on the user's location by providing results of data analysis of variables such as precipitation change in the area/state over time. Change in precipitation patterns is identified by NASA's Global Climate Change:Vital Signs of the Planet initiative as a consequence of climate change and there is data available on hourly precipitation in the US for the last 30+ years.
28458-+ An App that shows the price changes in the cryptocurrency market and plots the graph. The cryptocurrencies would include the major coins like bitcoin, Etherum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin.
28458-1 An App that measures amount of carbon for every purchase we make and alerts us at at the end of the day - our personal carboon footprint. The app will take a screenshot from the receipts and populate the items and then go on to some APIs to collect the carbon information. It will then print it on the mobile screen
28458-2 An App that shows us St. Olaf alumnis who are living around the location. The App will work at any location and will interact with St. Olaf Alumni database on the backend to get the results.
28459-1 A text based adventure game
28459-2 A puzzle game that uses features on your phone like the gyroscope or the clock. You would solve puzzles by, for example, playing the game during certain times of day or by holding the phone a certain way.
28460-1 A St. Olaf themed game app where the levels are based on locations around campus. For example, one level might involve the user making a pause pizza before time runs out.
28460-2 A puzzle game of some kind.
28461-1 A St. Olaf Pause Kitchen game where players must prepare food and deliver it to customers in a timely manner. Number of customers would increase with each level.
28461-2 A St. Olaf themed game where levels are based around locations around campus and players must complete Olaf related objectives (ex: Make it to Old Main in time for your 8 am).
28462-1 Worldwide scavenger hunt. A set of puzzles/ riddles only solvable in certain areas of the world / time of day. Riddle information stored in the server. Forces people to work together.
28462-2 Multiplayer text based adventure game. list of players in the same area as your character. Collect artifacts from the world.
28463-1 Inventory system to manage CS and I.T managed products at St. Olaf. Already discussed idea with Jesus.

28464-1 A personal time tracker, so people can see clearly how they've spent their time. It should be low-barrier to make entries, and have nice exportable data.
28464-2 A personal inventory manager. You count items on a given basis (daily/weekly/etc), it predicts when you will run out.
28465-1 Multiplayer game where friends can challenge each other and play simultaneously. The game could be similar to the game hangman or some other variation.
28465-2 An application for students to buy and sell used books. A student would be able to enter the isbn for a book, the condition, upload a picture and a price and then it would be available for other students who have the app to see. Student-student contact could be anonymous through the app.
28466-1 A mobile app for the Post Office at St. Olaf. Store all packages received into a database and emailed the receiver to notify that they have a package with the courier and also the tracking no. Student could also enter tracking numbers to the app to track there packages, the app will jump to the corresponding courier website.
28466-2 An account book. Have 8 categories: shopping, digital, entertainment, medical, housing, food, misc and income. Store all detail by entering spending and the category. Will have a monthly report with the amount of money spending, income and also how it spreads with 8 categories.
28467-1 Brand/symbol/person identifier. Using the camera or image file. Upload the frame to the java server, do some image processing with openCV(?) to match the symbol or person with a known database, to return to the camera feed an overlay of the brand/person name and other info.
28467-2 A podcast app.
28468-+ An app which shows the application of mathematics surrounding the location of the user. An app which determines the shortest way to reach the destination.
28468-1 A project which enables user to create websites through clicking and dragging.
28468-2 A game which is similar to Pokemon Go. User will go around and interact with the real environment in order to finish the mission.
28469-1 Create an app to work with the St. Olaf Post Office to help manage the packages. On the Post Office side, when the office receive one's package they will add the info to database and send an notice to that student. On the student side, a student can add items with tracking numbers into the app's "package manage page". So if a student have multiple packages on the way, it will be easier for him/her to track them. Now if the students want to know if their packages arrived, they have to go to and check if there is a slip in their PO box. And the Post Office is using handwritten records for all received packages. This app can help both side save time and manage things better.
28469-2 Create an app for people to record their expenses. The app will give charts show the books, and thus help people have a clear understanding of your personal finances and spending. Every time people record an expense they get a plant. Different kind of expense correspond to different kind of plant... And people can create a beautiful garden if they keep recording their expense.

28479-+ Manitou Mess newspaper application that displays articles and so on.
28479-1 Pause online ordering system for delivery and pick up. There will be a kitchen side, which will work on a tablet inside the kitchen and that side will send notifications to the user about their order status and if there are certain toppings not available. There will also be a customer side, which will work on the phone of the user as an extension to the All About Olaf app (or so), where the user will choose their pizza and the toppings and send those to the kitchen to be made.
