This is an example of a linear molecule. Linear molecules can consist
of several atoms arranged in a linear structure. The common thread through
all of these molecules is the 180 degree angles formed by all of the bonds.
For example, allene, CH2CCH2, consists of two H2C-H bonds of length 1.31 Angstroms
and form a 180 degree angle. Carbon dioxide, CO2, is also a linear species. It consists
of two O-C bonds of length 1.16 Angstroms that form a 180 degree angle.

moving it across the image. To rotate the molecule manually, hold the
left mouse button and drag it across the picture.
