Location
The location of commencement exercises is announced at Baccalaureate [at 9:00 a.m.], posted on the college's home page, posted in Buntrock Commons, and available through the switchboard.
Outdoor commencement ceremonies are held on Manitou Field. No tickets are needed for general seating. Seating opens at 1:00 p.m.
If the weather is inclement or field conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony, commencement will be held in Skoglund Auditorium. Seating opens at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are needed for entrance; ticketed seating is held until 1:30 p.m. [Tickets are available for pick up by graduates the week prior to commenement.] Alternate viewing areas that do not require tickets: Viking Theater, The Pause [both in Buntrock Commons], Regents Hall rooms 150, 210, 310, and 410, Kelsey Theater and Tomson Hall 280.
Please note: in order to accommodate our guests we strive to hold commencement outdoors if at all possible. Please check the local weather forecasts and dress for the weather: drizzle, bring rain gear; heat, bring hats or umbrellas since there is very little shade near the field; etc.
