Senior Mandy Erdmann is world champ in two log-rolling events
WEDNESDAY, JUL 30, 2003 The world's premier lumberjack event, held July 25-27 in Hayward, Wis., drew two competitors from St. Olaf College -- and both performed exceptionally well. Mandy Erdman defended her world championship title in the boom run for the fifth straight year and excelled in other events.

St. Olaf continues Fulbright streak; seven scholarships awarded
FRIDAY, JUL 25, 2003 The consistent number of St. Olaf College students who win a prestigious Fulbright award each year places the college among the top Fulbright producers of its peer institutions. Seven St. Olaf graduates recently were granted the honor, which underwrites international study and cultural exchange.
