Connecting to Your Personal Space on Stuhome using Windows Vista
Follow the instructions below for connecting to your personal space on stuhome. This should only need to be done once and then your computer will reconnect to your personal space each time it starts up.
- Click on the Start menu and choose Computer.
- In the top button bar, click on Map Network Drive.
If the window is small, the button may be hidden under the >> (see below).
- In the Map Network Drive window that appears, enter the following:
Drive: H: Folder: \\stuhome.stolaf.edu\stuhome_w\username
replacing username with your St. Olaf username
Check the Reconnect at logon box.
- Then click on Finish.
- You will be prompted for your username and password. Enter your St. Olaf username and password, check the Remember my password box and click OK.
- When you return to the Computer window, you will now have your stuhome/H: drive and access to your personal files.
