Connecting a Macintosh

1. Make sure you have the correct cable(s) to connect to the wired network.
2. Connecting to and setting up your computer on the network.
3. Utilizing Your Network Connection.
   • Set up your e-mail.
   • Connecting to the campus servers.
   • Use the public printers.

Connecting a PC-Compatible

1. Make sure you have the correct cable(s) to connect to the wired network.
2. Connecting to and setting up your Windows computer on the network.
3. Utilizing Your Network Connection.
   • Set up your e-mail.
   • Connect to the campus servers (your "home" space, folders for classes, etc.).
     • Using Windows Vista
     • Using Windows XP
   • Use the public printers.

Connecting a game console (Xbox, Wii, Playstation 3, etc.)

To use the Internet features of a game console, you need to register the game console on the network in a simliar way that you registered your computer on the network.
