Network Printing at St. Olaf

Welcome to the network printing web page. St. Olaf provides over 200 networked printers for use by faculty, staff and students.

Printer Names

Each printer has a label on it which identifies the printer. Departmental printers begin with 'dept-' followed by a location. The primary printer in a department or office is named after the office (e.g. 'dept-physics' is the departmental printer in the Physics office). Additional printers within the department are named with a room number (e.g. dept-sc130 is the printer in Science Center 130).

Public printers are named after their location (e.g. 'rml115' is the printer in RML115, 'larson' is the printer in Larson hall). Please be aware that St. Olaf tracks the use of public printers and will charge for excessive use.
