Windows Vista Information

Purchasing Recommendations

St. Olaf College recommends Windows Vista Home Premium Edition for students. This version has all of the features necessary to access St. Olaf networked services and applications.

Windows Vista Business Edition and and Ultimate Edition will also work well at St. Olaf. These editions have a number of additional features which may warrant their consideration.

St. Olaf does not recommend purchasing Home Basic edition. This version omits some features and may not be supported by the applications used at St. Olaf.
