WELCOME!

Please join us in welcoming the newest member of the Human Resources Department:

Jess Nelson, Human Resources Student Worker

Jess is an Economics Major with an emphasis in Finance and Nordic Studies. Her dream is to become a Sr. Accountant and a CFO, in her early years of profession. She will be attending International Summer School at University of Oslo this summer and hopes to work abroad for a few years after college. One of the things she likes about St. Olaf is how someone will hold a door for you just because. A few of her hobbies include playing golf, games, and croquet.

John J. Giannini, Biology Department, Web Manager

Attention Parents of Graduating Students

Each spring, a number of faculty and staff have children that graduate from high school and college. Children age 19 and older, who are covered on the college's Blue Cross and Blue Shield health plan, will lose coverage at the end of the month that they cease to be full time students. Please let the Human Resources Office know if you have a child who will be in this situation. We are required by law to notify these students of their right to have an individual policy on the St. Olaf plan under the Cobra provisions. We are also available to assist you in learning about other options for coverage.

EAP Newsletter

Spring newsletter is now available. It includes featured topics on brain fitness, "Freecycyling", helping children build self esteem, and how to save money and help the environment. To access the newsletter click here.

New HR Library

We have created a new library for your convenience to access information. You will find newsletters from EAP, Delta Dental, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and other HR related information. Click here to be directed to the New HR Library.
