The Academic Support Center
The Academic Support Center (ASC), located in the Modular Village, helps students develop independent learning techniques that will contribute to their academic and personal growth at St. Olaf.
The Academic Support Center has professional and student staff to assist students with time management, analytical reading, note-taking, writing, math, test-taking, or problem solving.
The ASC also provides services for students with disabilities ranging from visual and hearing disabilities to Attention Deficit Disorder and learning disabilities. If you have a diagnosed disability, please provide our office with a copy of your documentation in order to receive the support you need. If you are concerned that you might have an undiagnosed disability, just make an appointment by calling 507-786-3288.
During the academic year we are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except during chapel and community times, Monday through Friday. Our services are provided free for full-time St. Olaf Students.
