Facility Hours

Fall Break Building Hours: See main Recreation Page.

The following information pertains to the Academic year which is September '08-May '09.

Tostrud fieldhouse, indoor track, elevated track, Skoglund gym and fieldhouse and racquetball courts can be used by St.Olaf or Northfield Community members.

Northfield Community Member please refer to the hours listed within the "Important Message to the Northfield Community" for use of the facilities.

The fitness room, weight room, climbing wall and pool can only be used by students/faculty/staff or St.Olaf Community members(emeriti/retirees/alumni/parents). Passes may be obtained for use of the facilities from the main office in skoglund during business hours from 9am-4pm.

Monday – Thursday 6:30 a.m.–10:45 p.m.
Friday 6:30 a.m.–8:45 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m.–8:45 p.m.
Sunday Noon–10:45 p.m.

 

Tostrud Climbing/Bouldering Wall: (Must be 18 years old to climb AND be a student/faculty/staff or member of the St.Olaf Community to use the wall)

Sunday – Thursday 4 p.m.–<;10 p.m.
Friday 4 p.m.–8 p.m.
Saturday 1 p.m.–5 p.m.

 

Pool hours: must be a St. Olaf Community member

Monday – Friday 6:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

Monday – Thursday 8:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. open swim

 

Tom Porter Hall Weight Room: will NOT be open for general use.

 

Note: Priority for facility space is given to St. Olaf College students, faculty and staff, and to college-sponsored events. Open recreation will be available at limited hours weekly and will follow the academic calendar: Sept. 3, 2008 through May 18, 2009.

We will be closed:

Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 26–Nov 30
Christmas break Dec. 20–Dec. 28, Dec 30–Jan. 2
Spring break March 21–March 29
Commencement May 22–24
