What is Ole Biz?

Ole Biz 2012 is the first event organized by Twin Cities Ole business alumni for Ole students and Oles in business for the purpose of connecting those who are interested and involved in business.

A group of Oles in business created “Ole Biz,” formed a Steering Committee of 30 Oles in business, and planned the event. Students will be bused to the event from the Hill.

A unique feature of Ole Biz is the concept of “pop-up panelists.” Each panelist “pops up” from where he/she is in the room and will speak for two minutes about his/her life in business. Fast and fun.

What to Expect:

  • Connecting with like-minded Oles and students

  • Opportunity to meet alumni in business

  • Learning of journeys of Pop-up Panelists listed below

  • Remarks by St. Olaf President David R. Anderson ‘74

  • Food and beverages will be served at 5:30 p.m.

  • Gracious hospitality from Beth Opperman ’93 and her company, Wells Fargo

  • A fun and enjoyable evening
