St. Olaf Leaders Abolishing Slavery (SOLAS)

The objective of the club is to give the students and faculty of Saint Olaf College as well as Northfield community members a forum to act as abolitionists in the movement to end slavery/human trafficking in our lifetime. The organization will work to increase the saliency of this important issue by educating members of the Saint Olaf community about the poignancy of modern- day slavery throughout the world. SOLAS will be a place to learn more about the atrocities of human trafficking as well as how to take action. An informational meeting will be held Thursday, December 6th at 7:30 pm in BC222.
