Ballroom Dance Club

The Ballroom Social Dance Club seeks to educate students on social dance technique and etiquette, as well as, to promote social ballroom dancing as a fun activity. Dances styles that are taught include the slow waltz, American tango, foxtrot, cha cha, rumba, salsa, polka, and more. Besides providing weekly lessons and practice sessions, the Club holds informal dances on campus, organizes trips to dance events in the Twin Cities when available, and hosts professional guest instructors in workshops throughout the year. Students of any and all experience levels are welcome to join! A partner is not required.
