- $430K grant awarded May 2006 by the Lilly Endowment Program on the Theological Exploration of Vocation

For more information on the Sustainability Grant, read the full proposal.
Original Program Grant
- A five-year, nearly $2 million grant from the Lilly Endowment's Program on the Theological Exploration of Vocation (read the entire proposal) awarded in 2003
- Grant monies were used to develop St. Olaf's Lives of Worth and Service program, which aided students, faculty, staff, and alumni in their discernment of and reflection on vocation
- The program components created and institutionalized change to foster a new understanding of the meaning of "vocation" across the entire St. Olaf community through workshops, mentoring, curricular programs, retreats, and more
The Lilly Program Grant is coordinated and administered through the Center for Experiential Learning (CEL).
