At St. Olaf College, the parents, grandparents, and families of our students are important members of our campus community. We encourage families to participate fully in campus life: cheering on our athletic teams, enjoying concerts and theatre productions, attending lectures, and sharing in such memorable events as Homecoming and Family Weekend and the St. Olaf Christmas Festival.
One important way parents and grandparents can participate is by making a gift to the
St. Olaf Fund. The St. Olaf Fund serves to strengthen
the academic and co-curricular opportunities available to current students.
Nearly 30 percent of the cost of educating our students is provided by gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends of the college. A gift to the St. Olaf Fund provides the resources that help provide that margin that makes the difference between a good education and a complete one.
In the past five years, St. Olaf parents and grandparents have contributed nearly $2.5 million to the college with more than 2,200 Ole parents making a gift each year. Their generosity has had a significant and meaningful impact on our students' educational experience.

Parents and grandparents are also invited to consider leadership gifts that target specific areas of need, such as endowed scholarships, or explore estate or other long-term planned giving in support of St. Olaf.
We invite you to join other Ole parents and grandparents in making a gift to the St. Olaf Fund. Please make your gift online today.
