Keynote: Social Inequalities and HIV in Asia: Thirty years into the HIV epidemic, we still have astronomical rates of infection among some most-at-risk populations/social groups. In Thailand, men who have sex with men and injection drugs users continue to be disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS, with infection rates over 25%. The seminar will discuss the HIV epidemic in Asia among vulnerable groups, and the search for new methods to prevent high-risk transmission. This lecture is a Wellness Center Swiped Event. |
