History
GusDay began as a brain-child of the MPCC IT directors at one of the meetings in 1999. Bruce Aarsvold at Gustavus Adolphus College, through the dedicated help of Tami Aune and Melanie Rice, along with Joel Cooper at Carleton College were the visionaries for this event. Gustavus hosted the first two successful conferences in 2000 and 2002. Macalester and Carleton, respectively, hosted the next two events in 2003 and 2004. The consortium has maintained the name GusDay as a tradition and in appreciation of the host institution that birthed the event. St. Olaf College is honored and excited to host the eleventh annual GusDay 2012 conference.
