October 6, 2009: Professor Chris Chiappari will be participating in the discussion "American Immigration Revisited: Teaching Immigration in the St. Olaf Classroom" as part of the Faculty Lunch Conversations on Teaching and Learning series. The talk will take place in Buntrock 142 from 11:45-1:15.
October 22, 2009: Professor Ryan Sheppard will be participating in the CEL faculty advising event on academic internships. Sheppard will be discussing ideas for assigning reflective and integrative academic activities for internships.
November 6, 2009: Professor Tom Williamson will be presenting "The Global Health Market in Malaysia" at Carleton College from 8:30-9:30 in Leighton 330.
November 18, 2009: Professor Chris Chiappari will be delivering the Chapel Talk: Educating for Social Justice as part of a week long series: Remembering the Jesuit Martyrs of El Salvador. The talk will be in Boe Chapel at 10:10 am.
February 26 and 27, 2010: Professors Ryan Sheppard and Chris Chiappari are co-chairing the Globalization and Social Responsibility Conference: Contemporary Immigration Issues. Keynote speakers will include Cecilia Menjivar and Kristi Andersen.
March 23, 2010: Professor Tom Williamson will be presenting "Medical Anthropology and the Culture of Health" as part of the Faculty Forum from the Hill Lecture Series.
