The Mathematics and AQR Placement Process

Step One: What is the AQR requirement and do you need to complete it?

An Abstract and Quantitative Reasoning (AQR) course is part of the College's general education curriculum. All B.A. students must complete the AQR requirement either by taking a designated course in mathematics, statistics, or computer science or through successful completion of an equivalent course prior to arriving at St. Olaf (click here for more information).
