Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater Performance
Based in the Twin Cities for over 10 years, this nationally recognized performance company has been co-directed by Suzanne Costello and Stuart Pimsler since its inception in 1979. The company’s work has garnered critical acclaim for its ability to situate a highly physical, emotional vocabulary within stunning theatrical landscapes. SPDT continues to realize a signature vision of “theater for the heart and mind”.Saturday, October 27, 7:30 p.m.

Free and open to the public but tickets are required. Tickets may be picked up in the Dance Main Office (Dittmann 200) beginning October 8. Call 507-786-3248 if questions. This webpage will be updated when all the tickets are gone. If the show is sold out, there could be rush seats available.

The Alice Project
DID YOU EVER WONDER WHAT LIFE WOULD BE LIKE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MIRROR, OR DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE?
Then join the Flying Foot Forum in collaboration with St. Olaf interim course Art-240 Creating Spectacle to experience The Alice Project. Loosely based on Lewis Carroll's classic Alice in Wonderland, the Alice Project is going to be a wild percussive dance, musical theater and visual spectacle that happens around the audience and moves from space to space within Dittmann Center. It will include the audience in the action with multiple opportunities to join in, or if they prefer, just observe.

Ragamala Dance Performance
Acclaimed as one of the Diaspora’s leading Bharatanatyam ensembles, Ragamala Dance seamlessly carries this South Indian classical dance form into the 21st century. Artistic Directors Ranee and Aparna Ramaswamy see Bharatanatyam as a multi-dimensional art form—a dynamic, poetic language that conveys their ideas. Their vision and approach have inspired numerous collaborative partnerships with international composers choreographers, poets, playwrights, and artists.February 23, 7:30 p.m.
