About Me
I am an undergraduate student at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, majoring in German and Psycholinguistics, with a concentration in Management Studies. My career goal is to become an archivist. Heading into my senior year, I am continuing to build on my experiences, preparing myself for graduate school and a career in archiving.
I grew up in Seattle, WA, where I lived until spending a year in Germany as an exchange student. This experience peaked my interest in languages.
Originally introduced to museum studies as a high school volunteer at The Museum of Flight, I realized the power that museums can have, and knew that I could never separate myself too far from museums, or other similar institutions. While interning at the Kreismuseum Wewelsburg in Germany, I was introduced to collections management and the field of archiving, which I immediately knew was exactly where I was headed.
