Faculty Offices

a) Secretary to the Faculty

The Faculty Governance Committee shall appoint a Secretary to the faculty from among its franchised members. The term of office shall be one year.

The secretary of the faculty is responsible for taking the minutes of each faculty meeting and having them posted on the website of the Dean of the College.  The secretary also submits a formal record of all proceedings of the faculty meetings to the College Archives at the end of the academic year.

The Secretary to the Faculty is Karen Marsalek 2012-2013

b) Parliamentarian

The Faculty Governance Committee shall appoint a Parliamentarian from among its franchised members.
The term of office shall be one year.

The Parliamentarian is Torin Alexander 2012-2013.

c) Faculty Athletic Representative

The faculty shall elect an Athletic Representative from among nominees who hold faculty status but who are not members of the athletic staff or the Exercise Science department. The term of office shall be six years.

The Faculty Athletic Representative assists the President as an advisor on athletic matters,
certifies the academic eligibility of athletes, and serves as an ex officio member of the Athletic Committee.

d) Honor Council Adviser

The faculty shall elect an Honor Council Adviser for a three-year term in office. See the Faculty Handbook for additional details.
